New article in The Georgia Veterinarian

I’ve recently been published in the Georgia Veterinarian fall edition. The article, “Should you fire your client”  which covers some of the most common legal, business and ethical issues with terminating a client relationship. “When you establish the veterinary-client – patient relationship, you agree to assume “the responsibility for making medical judgments regarding the health of the animal and the need for medical treatment.” GA 43-50-3-(15) And that’s great, but there are times when you don’t want to continue that relationship… and almost no vet promises to be a client’s vet for better or worse, in sickness and health…forever…”
